Applications Analyst II – Epic Cupid Cardiology
Our client is seeking an Applications Analyst II to support technology and business alignment within their clinical systems, with a focus on Epic Cupid Cardiology. This role is ideal for someone with Epic certification and/or cardiology workflow knowledge who is eager to apply technology to improve processes and outcomes. The Applications Analyst II will act as a trusted liaison between IT and business teams, ensuring systems meet both strategic goals and day-to-day operational needs.
This role is mainly remote. Candidates must be able to come onsite occasionally in Boston, Massachusetts.
Applications Analyst II Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with operational strategies and goals. Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through system capabilities. Provide guidance on technology functionality, costs, benefits, and implementation requirements. Act as a technical liaison with internal teams, vendors, and contractors. Organize, plan, and execute projects from concept through implementation. Document system changes, workflows, and user processes with clear technical and business communication. Contribute to process re-engineering initiatives, ensuring systems support redesigned workflows. Support system testing, upgrades, and implementations while maintaining compliance with organizational standards. Develop credibility with customer leadership and IT colleagues by demonstrating understanding of business challenges and IT strategies. Applications Analyst II Qualifications
Associate’s degree in business, IT, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years of relevant experience in business systems analysis or close business/IT partnership. Epic Cupid certification (or related Epic certification) preferred; must complete Epic certification within designated timeframe after hire. Knowledge of cardiology or other clinical workflows is a plus. Experience with process improvement, business change initiatives, or strategic use of technology desirable. Strong analytical and conceptual skills with proven ability to solve problems spanning multiple environments. Excellent communication skills, including technical writing and documentation. Ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; HL7 knowledge is a plus. Collaborative, flexible, and team-oriented mindset.
