Johnson Brothers is seeking an experienced SR. Manager of Credit to join our team. The Sr. Manager of Credit is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day credit functions for the Company, creating and enforcing the Company's credit and collection policies, and responsible for managing and developing a team of credit specialists, both direct and indirect. The candidate's responsibilities also include:
Responsibilities Work with Controller and General Management to create risk-appropriate credit policies and then work across the organization to enforce credit and collections policies and procedures. Maintain credit limits and perform collections through interfacing with general management, sales, and external customers. As issues escalate from team, demonstrate maturity and professionalism to defuse tensions and have difficult conversation. Understand and ensure compliance with state-by-state industry credit regulations. Evaluate customer credit risk and develop commercially reasonable approaches to managing financial risk. Develop state or Company-wide strategies and goals to reduce exposure to write-offs. Assist staff in researching and handling more complicated transactions and problems. Selecting and managing the relationship with third-party collection agencies. Reviewing and analyzing accounts receivable aging reports with senior leadership and recommending collection efforts or bad debt write-off. Requirements
Associate or bachelor's degree. Minimum, 7+ years of credit experience with three years managing team. Knowledge of collection practices and bankruptcy. Demonstrated ability to have difficult conversations in a professional manner and defuse tension.
The expected pay range for this role is $100,470 - $150,056. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, union status (where applicable) and alignment with market data.
