Position Purpose

The primary role of the Maintenance Electrician is to provide leadership in the engineering department, focusing on electrical, mechanical, and control systems design and documentation. The successful candidate will recommend and implement process improvements, assist in project development, planning, and installation as well as serve as a resource to engineers and operations personnel.

Pay (Depends on Experience)

Schedule:

• 3 rd shift Monday-Friday, OT as needed on the weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, install and maintain PLC control systems and operator interfaces for both major and smaller projects. Maintain industrial network backbone and data collection systems and ensure backups of all system software.

• Assist in maintaining engineering standards for PLC programming, HMI layouts, electrical drawings, communications, data collection, and equipment standardization.

• Coordinate troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks in a timely manner to maximize uptime. Utilize and expand the use of an Enterprise Asset Management System following established procedures.

• Promote a safe and clean working environment, adhering to safety procedures and guidelines. Report potential electrical or mechanical issues and attend safety and staff meetings as required.
