Position Summary

We’re seeking a skilled and dependable Residential Electrician with 5–10 years of hands‐on experience. The ideal candidate will be adept at residential wiring, troubleshooting, and code compliance — with a proven record of safe, efficient, and customer‐friendly service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions
• Ensure compliance with NEC, South Carolina codes, and all relevant safety regulations
• Coordinate with homeowners, contractors, and team members to complete jobs on time and within budget
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in proper working order
• Follow strict safety protocols and company standards

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5–10 years in residential electrical work
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of NEC requirements, load calculations, service upgrades, and modern wiring methods
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, climb ladders, stand for periods of at least 8 hours per day, and work in confined spaces
• Professional Skills: Excellent troubleshooting, attention to detail, and client communication

Preferred Skills

• Experience with rough wiring and trim/finish work, electrical services, panels, devices, light fixtures, generators, smart home systems, and EV charger installation
• Knowledge of energy‐efficient lighting systems and home automation
• Familiarity with historic home wiring and regional code variations
• Ability to mentor apprentices and lead small crews
