About the Role
We are seeking a full-time, in-office Graphic Designer to join our collaborative marketing team in Ann Arbor, MI. This is a permanent, on-site position (not hybrid, remote, freelance, or contract) where you’ll be hands-on with creative projects, product photography, and team collaboration.
This role blends creativity and strategy, giving you the opportunity to design across digital and print platforms while working in an environment that values both artistic vision and business goals. You’ll help shape the look and feel of materials that reach musicians, educators, and music enthusiasts worldwide.
What You’ll Do
Design assets for web, print, social media, email campaigns, product packaging, and catalogs
Capture and edit product and lifestyle photography in the in-house studio
Retouch and optimize images to professional brand standards
Maintain brand consistency across all channels
Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and leadership teams
Manage multiple projects and adapt quickly to feedback
Provide guidance to junior designers when needed
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of professional graphic design experience in a business or brand environment
Strong photography and photo editing skills
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
Ability to create clean, modern, and engaging visuals for a wide audience
Collaborative, team-oriented, and open to feedback
Passion for music, arts, or education (highly preferred)
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience creating content for blogs, email, and social media
Product photography and staging
Prior work with music, arts, or educational brands
Mentoring or leadership experience within creative teams
