We are seeking an energetic, skilled
Equipment Sanitation
for our facility in
Arkansas City, KS.
Main functions:
Equipment Sanitation is responsible for all activities involved in maintaining the cleanliness and food safe environment of the facility, surrounding area and equipment.
Shift - 6am-2pm or 8am-4pm
We operate 24/7.

Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objective for quality, food safety, integrity, regulatory compliances, cost, safety and customer satisfaction at KanPak Participate in formulating and administering division’s short and long range goals and objectives for business growth Comply with KanPak policies & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as well as state and federal law to ensure food safety and food defense in plant. Comply with SOP’s. Prepare for state, federal and customer inspections. Disassemble and reassemble equipment to remove all remnants of product in machines and surrounding area. Clean and sanitize walls, shelves, racks conveyor belts, floors and all other equipment and machinery in production rooms. Properly handle products, use equipment, keep accurate logs and follow sanitation practices in accordance with food safety guidelines. Communicate potential issues, concerns, or risks with supervisor to achieve resolution. Consistently works with chemicals on a daily basis, must wear proper PPE while handling Chemicals. Perform related duties as required. Related duties as required are duties that may not be specifically listed in the position description, but are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employee’s classification of work. Employment Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year of Experience in the Manufacturing Industry PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
