Warehouse Loader
Job Summary
This position is responsible for loading and unloading trailers for delivery. This role requires safe and efficient handling of products and equipment while maintaining load stability and compliance with safety standards.
Essential Functions
Load and unload shipments as required; frequently lift boxes up to 100 lbs. Load trucks according to mapping, route sequence, and special instructions. Stack and secure products to prevent damage and ensure driver safety. Properly wrap and strap pallets to maintain stability during transport. Unload and clean trucks as needed. Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks (manual or electric). Weigh, handle, and prepare products for shipment. Ensure pallets have labels facing outward for accurate customer delivery. Hand-load product onto trucks as required. Comply with all safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Education & Experience
Previous experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift. Prior foodservice or warehouse experience preferred. Job Competencies

Physical Requirements
Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift, push, pull, twist, turn, reach, and carry materials weighing up to 100 lbs. Use hands for grasping, handling, and operating tools or controls. Ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to hear and communicate clearly in a warehouse environment. Required Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of proper pallet building and stacking techniques. Ability to read, write, communicate effectively, and perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Ability to work in a variety of warehouse environments, including dry, cooler or freezer and noisy areas. Must successfully complete and pass forklift certification.
