has been retained by a leading full-service industrial real estate developer (merchant builder) to recruit a
West Coast leader
based in
Orange County, CA . The ideal candidate (who must be local to southern California) will bring
deep expertise across the full logistics property investment lifecycle , including development sourcing, underwriting, entitlement, permitting, development management, leasing, and tenant relations. The West Coast leader holds senior responsibility for sourcing and executing institutional industrial development projects across the West Coast, with a primary focus on Southern California. These include identifying target submarkets, building and leading the regional development team, and driving the strategic growth of the platform. This role is accountable for the full lifecycle of development projects, from site identification and acquisition through transition to asset management.
A strong track record in
opportunity sourcing (land acquisitions)
and structuring complex transactions is essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of industrial real estate market dynamics. The
primary responsibility
will be sourcing development opportunities throughout
southern California , with additional oversight and strategic involvement in
key Western markets
including Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona.
