SUMMARY

We are seeking several

Operator I(s)

to perform real-time transaction processing duties in a DOS environment while continuously monitoring communication and application networks. This role identifies and addresses data issues requiring additional attention and serves as the OSC's first point of contact to support Parimutuel Fixed Odds and Historical Horse Racing customers.

BASE WORK LOCATION -

Position is based at the Hunt Valley, MD office location.

Position classification is "Remote".

WORK SCHEDULE

Typical schedule is 10 pm - 6 am or 8:30 am EST

Tuesday - Saturday night

PAY RATE -

This role is non-exempt/hourly and the pay rate is $20.20 per hour ($42,000 annually)

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Supports Parimutuel Fixed Odds and Historical Horse Racing customers Assists field employees, including RDC (Race Day Control) team members, Terminal Technicians and Customer Representatives Monitors the propriety bet processing application and necessary peripheral applications Utilizes visual cues for basic troubleshooting, monitors communication networks and reports issues per guidelines Verifies program/bet pool information for all customer communities including commission rates, proper rounding, minimum payouts, minimum bet values and entries etc. Monitors ITW traffic (inbound and outbound) and ensures ITW connections are established at the appropriate times. Uses menus for basic troubleshooting Monitors error logs and system alerts and reports errors per guidelines Supports RDC operations by aiding with RDC functionality (e.g., RDC Technicians, Mutuel departments) Generates ad-hoc reports and verifies accuracy of offline reporting Supports Historical Horse Racing and slot machine-style historical horse racing machines Performs other duties as assigned. Travel:

Travel on day-to-day basis is minimal to none. Travel may be required for installation and operations support at the customer location, company office location or data center forkey projects and installations. Work Schedule:

Secondary education degree or Technical Certificate in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience One (1) year of experience with on-the-job training provided Effective and consistent communication skills (verbal and written) with strong attention to detail Demonstrates strong Math skills Ability to be self-motivated, hardworking, flexible and reliable Demonstrates excellent troubleshooting skills Ability and willingness to provide 24x7 support including nights, weekends and Holidays. Preferred Experience and/or Education:

Bi-lingual (Spanish); Wagering/gaming industry experience; Knowledgeable in horse racing, pari-mutuel wagering, gaming, sports wagering and/or social marketplace industries. OTHER INFORMATION:

Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a competitive base compensation and bonus opportunity. This position does not have supervisory/management responsibilities. This position is empowered to take initiative with applicable duties/projects.
