COURT SERVICES COORDINATOR - COURT ADMINISTRATION - BISBEE

CLASSIFIED: Position is subject to the provisions of the Merit System Rules pursuant to Arizona Law.

ANTICIPATED RATE OF PAY: $20.00 to $25.00 hourly

plus a

and fingerprint clearance . NATURE OF WORK:

Under direct supervision of the Court Administrator or designee, this role involves significant support in the efficient and effective administration of court operations through case management, administrative coordination, procedural oversight, and training facilitation. This position plays a key role in maintaining workflow integrity, compliance with administrative policies, and ensuring consistent service delivery for the court. Key responsibilities include administrative tasks, demonstrate strong communication skills, discretion with sensitive information, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

TYPICAL DUTIES

Coordinates and assists in the preparation of project and training schedules; processes and tracks orders, service requests, and documentation; responds to inquiries from court staff, external agencies, and the public; prepares and handles confidential and sensitive documents with discretion; serves as a backup to Judicial Administrative Assistants as needed; provides support for Case Management functions during absences or high-volume periods; drafts and prepare legal notices and court orders for judicial review and signature; maintains and update court calendars on digital platforms to ensure accuracy and timeliness; coordinates and assists with special events; participates and serve on specialized workgroups as directed; arrange and assist with travel accommodations for staff; serves as the Training Coordinator for Superior Court, Justice Courts, and Municipal Courts; maintains and updates employee training records; creates and distributes training calendars for court staff; performs complex clerical and administrative tasks in support of court staff, judges, and the public. Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education; three (3) years of work experience in a court setting or progressively responsible administrative work experience; OR knowledge of court processes, document review, case flow management and/or knowledge;must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License and the ability to be covered by county insurance. Applicants must successfully complete a criminal background check and fingerprinting.

An equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may be considered. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Considerable knowledge of:

court operations and basic legal terminology; technical legal search engines and resources; case management processes and software; the operation and procedures of a court and the justice system.

Considerable skill in:

producing documents that are well organized using proper sentence construction, punctuation, grammar; organizational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities; providing reports and analyses regarding projects and objectives.

Ability to:

analyze, interpret and solve complex problems; establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, elected officials, other agencies, and the public; organize assignments, follow priorities, meet deadlines, and make independent decisions if needed; research facts, analyze, and identify resolutions to issues; maintain confidentiality of court-related information; ability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately and efficiently; work effectively individually or in a team environment; read,write,andspeak English. communicate effectively and successfully with customers of varying skill levels, communication styles, and personality types.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

:

Work is primarily performed under direct supervision. Incumbent generally performs work in a typical office setting with appropriate climate controls.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

:

Essential functions of this position require: Lifting up to 10 pounds, manual dexterity, fine motor skills, ability to communicate.

Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force; frequently lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds; requires a good deal of walking, standing, or involves sitting most of the time with some pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls.
