We are looking for a Studio Manager for a top cosmetic company in NYC! This is a full-time (40hrs/week) contract-based position with requirements to be in-studio on a daily basis throughout the standard work week (Mon-Fri).
Responsibilities: Our client is hiring a Studio Manager for the organization's internal broadcast studio. Will conduct day-to-day operations of the studio, including set up, production, equipment operations, livestreaming, and post-production as needed. This role will be part of the Employee Engagement team (reporting into the US Head of Employee Engagement) under the Corporate Affairs & Engagement department, and work closely with the onsite Campus Experience and IT/AV teams. Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the areas of studio management, video content and green screen production, webcasting, A/V for live events or a similar domain. Experience with operating control room equipment, including video switchers, audioconsoles, and video playback software. Knowledge of virtual production and meeting platforms including Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Understanding of production setups for virtual and hybrid events. Understanding of industry standard web streaming and encoding platforms and software. PC and MAC literate including MS Office applications. Track record of being organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and working well in a team atmosphere as well as having the capability to work well individually, is essential. Strong work ethic, self-direction, self-motivation, patience, persistence and the ability to get along with coworkers and customers. Mature judgment to make sound decisions based on objective evidence, customer needs, and cost considerations. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including necessary paper and/or computer documentation. Self-motivated, detail oriented, organized and resourceful with strong work ethic, the ability to learn quickly, and work independently. College degree in video production, broadcast television, communications, or similar field. Experience with TriCaster production environments and video switchers including IDK routers/switchers. Experience with audio production systems including audio consoles, Dante audio routing networks, Shure microphones, and intercom systems. Experience with Sony PTZ Cameras.
