Role Description:
A Java Technical Lead is a senior Java developer who provides technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers, while also contributing to the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications. They are responsible for ensuring code quality, meeting project timelines, and collaborating with stakeholders. Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical LeadershipProviding technical direction, mentoring team members, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Design and DevelopmentParticipating in the design and development of Java-based applications, including architecture design, coding, and integration testing. Project ManagementContributing to project planning, effort estimation, and release management. Collaboration and CommunicationWorking closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and other development teams, to align on project goals and ensure successful delivery. Problem SolvingIdentifying and resolving technical issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing solutions. Staying CurrentKeeping up-to-date with the latest Java technologies, frameworks, and best practices. Mentoring and TrainingSharing knowledge and expertise with other team members, providing guidance on technical skills, and fostering a collaborative environment. Required Skills and ExperienceStrong proficiency in Java programming and related technologies (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs).Experience with software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and database technologies.Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices is often preferred.
