The HR Generalist role is a proactive, knowledgeable HR professional who will support the Human Resources department in developing and executing Team Member procedures and policies, guiding all UGN Team Members at the facility. This role involves administering benefits, workers' compensation, and employee performance programs, ensuring smooth HR operations.
What you will do for UGN:
- Manage full recruiting cycle for non-management Team Members, including requisitions, resume vetting, interviewing, offers, and documentation.
- Conduct onboarding, orientation, and keep records for referral bonuses.
- Execute job bids for non-management positions.
- Handle investigations and disciplinary actions for non-management Team Members.
- Oversee termination processes and conduct exit interviews.
- Support payroll by reviewing timesheets and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Plan and execute Team Member Engagement activities.
- Assist with benefits administration, including leave of absences and open enrollment.
- Respond to inquiries regarding policies and programs.
- Mentor and train the Human Resources Assistant.
- Prepare reports like Headcount and DMR.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you will bring to UGN:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills at all organization levels.
- Knowledge of HRIS (UKG) and MS Office.
