Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified, reliable candidates for a Quality Inspection position for a company in Erie, PA. This is a 2nd shift position with a pay range of $15-16/hr with a 10% shift differential.
Quality Inspector
Shift:
2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm Monday through Friday. Candidate will train on 1st shift, 6am-2:30pm Monday through Friday
Pay Range:
$15-16/hr, plus a 10% shift differential

Job Summary
This is primarily a seated position, focused on operating an AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) machine. The AOI uses cameras and software to visually inspect Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for potential defects. The key responsibility in this role is to review any defects flagged by the machine and determine whether they are true defects or acceptable per quality standards. This requires a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, as proper judgment is critical. The role also involves basic computer use, including scanning QR codes from the PCBs and entering relevant data-such as customer name, date, and serial number-into a daily log spreadsheet. Other tasks include placing PCBs into cassettes, loading them into the AOI machine for inspection, and unloading both the cassette and PCB once the process is complete. Common defects to identify include soldering issues, component misplacement, missing components, and other standard electronic assembly faults. Qualifications
