Hand Weavers - Direct Hire Pay:
$20/hr + 10% shift differential for 2nd shift ($22/hr total for 2nds)Annual merit raises, $1,000 sign-on bonus, full benefits Hours:

Monday- Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm 2nd Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM (4-day work week) Start Date:

Hand Weavers
for
direct hire
positions with our client, a leading manufacturer, located in
Biddeford, Maine . Hand Weavers will work directly with carbon fiber material, creating intricate multi-directional weaves used in cutting-edge applications in the defense and aerospace industries. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and motivated to grow within the aerospace manufacturing field. This is a
full-time position
on either first or second shift in a climate-controlled environment with excellent growth potential and industry-leading benefits.As a Hand Weaver, you will:
Perform repetitive hand weaving tasks, using tools and applying physical force to weaving fixtures Handle needles, spools, and perform associated utility jobs Inspect products to ensure specifications are met Set up looms, perform rodding, weaving functions, documentation updates, in-process compressions, and frame installation Wear required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes and safety eyewear Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Support and participate in company-wide Lean improvement initiatives The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Education:
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) Experience:
Manufacturing exposure preferred, but not required Skills:
Excellent hand-eye coordination, strong attention to detail, ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, and basic math skills (testing required) Personal Characteristics:
Safety-minded, reliable, motivated to grow, works well independently and in a team Certifications/Licenses:
None required, but must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Passport or ability to obtain one) Physical Abilities:
Able to lift 50 lbs as needed and stand for long periods of time Benefits:
