Job Description
Hired Gun Weed & Pest Control is a growing company in need of full-time Mechanics to perform basic and advanced fleet maintenance and repair tasks, inspecting vehicles and equipment for potential problems, and troubleshooting issues to ensure our fleet is performing appropriately and able to be sent out to work without long periods of downtime.
Primary Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Application of in-depth automotive/UTV/ATV repair
• Application of in-depth heavy equipment (skid steer, dozer, loader, backhoe, etc.) repair.
• Providing service of the highest quality to our fleet
• Performing skilled mechanical work while analyzing and diagnosing problems
• Inspect, replace and/or repair defective parts while performing preventative maintenance on automobiles/UTV's/ATV's
• Fabricating
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive repair technology
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission, and core values in all interaction with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliers
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Requirements
We are looking for:
• A minimum of 5 years' auto service / engine diagnostic experience in a professional capacity
• ASE Certified
• Welding knowledge a plus
• Must have Technician Tools
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead a crew of Technicians
Reliably commute or planning to relocate to Kersey, Colorado, United States before starting work
