Cleaning Specialist – Light Industrial: This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout our manufacturing facility. In addition to ensuring cleanliness and sanitation, this role will also support production needs across multiple departments as required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash, recycling, and shred bins, replacing liners as needed.
• Clean and disinfect work surfaces, equipment, and glass surfaces.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and restroom products, report supply needs to supervisor.
• Safely handle, mix, and store cleaning chemicals in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning procedures and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow.
• Provide production support as needed by cross-training with manufacturing departments.

Category: Non-exempt employee, full time

Shift: First (7:00 am – 3:30 pm)

Qualified candidates will possess the following minimum requirements:

• Attention to detail is a must, along with the ability to ignore distractions while working
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, reach, and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Must have at least 20/20 vision – with vision correction aides (i.e. glasses, contacts)
• Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen that includes marijuana.
• Due to ITAR requirements, we can only consider American Citizens for this position.
