ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. -

Other duties may be assigned. 1. Cleaning product bins. 2. Deep cleaning of equipment and/or racking 3. Sweeping/vacuuming/floor scrubbing 4. Shoveling up piles of spilled material and putting in appropriate marked bins 5. Wipe down overhead areas. 6. Cleaning up broken pallets, and broken product bags 7. Utilizing the trash and recycling compactor 8. Washing down dirty areas outside. 9. Sanitation of office, lunchrooms, and restrooms 10. Stock supplies for warehouse use 11. Document daily cleaning activities 12. Be able to follow MSS (Master sanitation Schedule) and document completed tasks.

NATURE AND SCOPE Performs duties relevant to the Sanitation department and plant operations.

DIMENSIONS Primarily, taken care of on one shift; however, extra hours are put in as the need arises.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE The ability to organize, manage and direct the activities of others

LANGUAGE SKILLS Employee must have the ability to Speak, Read, Write, and Comprehend instructions and documentation in the English Language.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Excellent knowledge in using a full range of statistical and analytical tools and fundamentals.

REASONING ABILITY 1. Excellent knowledge of sanitary design, sanitation and pest management in food processing. 2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). 3. Excellent knowledge of food manufacturing processes. 4. Excellent understanding of food safety. 5. Excellent relationship building skills. 6. Good experience with government regulatory requirements in the processing of food.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS On-going training to enhance performance in position as required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is infrequently exposed to hot or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and airborne particles caused by grain handling, milling and ingredient blending. The noise level in the mill environment is usually loud. The noise level in the office work environment is usually quiet to moderate and will be the primary work area.
