*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and possess a strong understanding of various dental procedures. This role involves diagnosing and treating oral diseases, performing dental procedures, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their treatment journey. The Dentist will work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals in a supportive environment that prioritizes patient health and satisfaction.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Perform a range of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, some oral surgery
* Execute dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other necessary treatments with precision.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for patient management and medical documentation.
* Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
* Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance patient care efficiency.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in a dental practice or clinic setting is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
* Familiarity with medical imaging techniques related to dentistry.
* Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory.
* Ability to demonstrate excellent patient care skills and effective communication with patients of all ages.
