Salary, based on experience and other qualifications:
$113,000 to $198,000 annual with additional bonus potential.
What You'll Do:
Be the Champion of Food Safety & Quality
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our FS&Q systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and GFSI certification.
Own Critical Programs
- Oversee Food Safety, Food Defense, and Food Quality Plans, including GMPs, allergen and pathogen control, recall readiness, and corrective/preventive action programs.
Lead with Influence
- Provide guidance during regulatory inspections, customer and third-party audits, and serve as the facility's PCQI and GFSI Practitioner.
Drive Continuous Improvement
- Partner with Operations and Corporate FS&Q to embed best practices and innovative solutions into daily operations.
Support and Grow Talent
- Mentor, develop, and inspire FS&Q and Sanitation team members, building a culture of accountability, compliance, and professional growth.
Make Data Matter
- Leverage SPC systems, SAP, and quality reporting tools to analyze trends, monitor KPIs, and make real-time, data-driven decisions.
Be a Trusted Partner
- Collaborate with R&D on new products and processes, manage consumer complaints with professionalism, and ensure timely, effective resolutions.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related discipline.
10+ years of proven success
in Food Safety & Quality, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
A track record of leading cross-functional teams and influencing at all levels.
Deep knowledge of food manufacturing regulations, GMPs, preventive controls, and sanitary design.
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to turn insights into action.
Tech-savvy with expertise in Microsoft Office, SAP, Infinity-QS, and other quality systems.
A natural coach and mentor who motivates and develops people.
