THE COUNTRY CLUB OF VIRGINIA SEEKS 1 JAMES RIVER CLUBHOUSE MGR (FOOD & BEVERAGE MGR) to: manage & be responsible for the day-to-day f&b operations of the James River Clubhouse through proper supervision & training of direct reports & by effectively communicating & working w/ other departments; provide overall team leadership to all f&b staff and will supervise 3 other food service mgrs.
Position requires: 5 yrs of exp serving as a f&b mgr, or similar senior level mgr role, for a private club performing the following duties: (i) managing & overseeing first line f&b personnel; (ii) developing & executing strategic plans/operating procedures/systems & processes; (iii) developing & managing budgets; (iv) overseeing & managing vendor relations w/in the food & wine industry; (v) overseeing regulatory compliance for f&b safety; (vi) overseeing operations for restaurant & banquet facilities w/in private clubs; & (vii) overseeing golf tournament event execution.
