Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Professional to join our team. This is a hands-on role focused on the technical execution and delivery of database systems.
You will be responsible for a range of tasks across Oracle database administration, business intelligence platform support, ETL pipeline development, and data governance. The ideal candidate brings deep Oracle expertise, a solid grasp of business intelligence tools, and strong troubleshooting skills in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Oracle Database administration tasks including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery.
Support and maintain Oracle environments including Oracle Fusion, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Oracle Integration Cloud.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and incidents in a timely manner.
Participate in performance tuning, capacity planning, and system optimization efforts.
Collaborate on database design and provide input on architecture when needed.
Data Management and Governance
Design, develop, and maintain data warehouses, databases, and business intelligence platforms to support business decision-making.
Develop and implement ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into business intelligence systems.
Create, deploy, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Apex, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL.
Collect, process, organize, and analyze data to uncover trends, identify inefficiencies, and surface improvement opportunities.
Monitor business intelligence system performance, conduct capacity planning, and optimize solutions for speed and scalability.
Debug, test, and troubleshoot issues in the business intelligence environment to ensure continuous, accurate data availability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Must-Have:
7+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in an enterprise environment.
Proficiency in Oracle DB administration and performance tuning.
Experience with Oracle Fusion, OCI, OAC, and OIC.
Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools.
Strong SQL skills and experience developing ETL processes.
Familiarity with data warehousing and analytics platforms.
Ability to work independently in a delivery-focused, execution-driven role.
Nice to Have:
Experience with data governance frameworks and data security practices.
Familiarity with cloud migrations and hybrid cloud/on-prem environments.
Experience automating database and business intelligence operations via scripting.
