Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Temporary)
Pay Rate: $20–$24 per hour
Location: Nashville, TN On-site (in-office) M-F 8am to 5pm
Assignment Duration: 1-3 months
???? Position Overview:
A professional services office is seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant for a temporary in-office role. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of administrative experience, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. This is a great short-term opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
???? Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and coordinate meetings across multiple locations
Draft, proofread, and distribute engagement letters
Assemble and send tax returns and financial statements
Greet visitors, answer phones, and manage general inquiries
Coordinate domestic and international travel, including visas and itineraries
Handle incoming and outgoing mail with attention to deadlines
Prepare and format letters, reports, and presentations
Provide general office support (filing, mail sorting, kitchen stocking)
✨ Additional Responsibilities May Include:
Scan and save client workpapers
Monitor document management systems and client portals
Assist with vendor invoice coding and approvals
Process and mail client invoices
Help prepare proposals and presentations
Use firm templates to ensure brand consistency
Gather background materials for client presentations
Edit and distribute final deliverables
???? Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:
3+ years of administrative experience required
Experience in a professional services or corporate environment preferred
Software Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with PeopleSoft Financials is a plus
Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
