Job Description

Overview

We are a commercial and residential solar and energy storage company serving the Los Angeles area. In addition to installing solar and battery systems locally, we also distribute clean energy equipment across the U.S. and internationally.

As a Solar Project Manager, you will act as the central hub for operations, ensuring smooth communication and workflow from project start to finish. This role involves consistent coordination with stakeholders-including sales, survey, inspections, operations, permitting, installation, and engineering teams-as well as direct communication with customers.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with site survey teams to collect structural details of homes.
Gather electrical information from main service panels and sub-panels.
Evaluate roof details and quality for solar system installations across different roof types.
Ensure job site photos and documentation meet engineering requirements.
Apply solar systems knowledge to support project needs.
Use modern software tools to manage and track project workflows.
Work with monitoring systems such as Enphase, Solaredge, and SunPower (preferred).
Read and interpret plan sets accurately.

Qualifications & Requirements

1-2 years of project management experience (CAD/plan set knowledge is a plus).
Experience with permit runs and on-site inspections.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable working at heights and able to visit job sites as needed.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
OSHA 10 Certification is a plus.
Ability to set up and climb ladders up to two stories.
Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
Energy storage experience is a plus.
