Senior Accountant – PART TIME – Downtown Orlando, FL | Onsite | $28.00–$35.00/hour

Base pay range: $58,240.00/yr - $72,800.00/yr. This position is with Creative Financial Staffing (CFS).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a wide range of financial responsibilities, including accounts payable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and fixed asset tracking.
• Issue accounts payable checks and process 150–200 invoices per week.
• Prepare and file reports for state and other regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate with team members to support daily accounting functions.
• Assist with year-end inventory counts and coordinate with purchasing.
• Manage the manual corporate credit card process by gathering receipts, matching them to transactions, and ensuring proper approvals.
• Perform account reconciliations and prepare financial statements.
• Support fixed asset management and assist with related schedules.
• Contribute significantly to the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), including compiling schedules, footnotes, and supporting documentation.
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal departments and external auditors during reviews and year-end processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Prior experience in public or nonprofit accounting is a plus.
