Overview
As a Licensed Electrician I, you’ll be responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance in commercial and industrial environments. You’ll work on projects that demand precision, safety, and collaboration.
Base pay
Base pay range: $35.00/hr - $48.00/hr
Per Diem: Up to $180 per day with significant overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Interpret and apply blueprints on job sites
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC)
- Layout and install conduit systems, lighting systems, control systems, and motor feeders
- Mentor and guide Helpers/Apprentices
- Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and job site cleanliness
- Collaborate with team members and work independently when needed
- Provide assistance and advice on electrical systems during planning and design of new projects
Minimum Requirements
- Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent experience (8,000 hours)
- Valid electrician license and up-to-date training
- Willingness to travel 60–75%
- Flexible availability Monday–Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM, with potential nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician in commercial or industrial settings
- Proven experience with control systems, motor feeders, and connections
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical diagrams
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures, regulations, and OSHA standards
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Outstanding physical condition to work in varied environments (heights, confined spaces, etc.)
- Strong understanding of renewable energy systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to train and mentor team members
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Valid electrician’s license and proof of insurance
