About the Role
As a Licensed Electrician I, you'll be responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance in commercial and industrial environments. You'll work on cutting-edge projects that demand precision, safety, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and apply blueprints on job sites
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC)
Layout and install conduit systems, lighting systems, control systems, and motor feeders
Mentor and guide Helpers/Apprentices
Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and maintain OSHA compliance
Maintain tools, vehicles, and job site cleanliness
Collaborate with team members and work independently when needed
Minimum Requirements
Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent experience (8,000 hours)
Valid electrician license and up-to-date training
Willingness to travel 60-75%
Flexible availability: Monday-Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM, with potential for nights, weekends, and holidays

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Electrician to join our dynamic team in the Construction. This is an exceptional opportunity to apply your knowledge and expertise in control systems, motor feeders, connections, and renewable energy systems within a commercial or industrial setting. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our electrical systems. Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and fixtures by relevant codes within the finance industry.
2. Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components.
3. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components, ensuring electrical connections are safe and correctly installed.
4. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
5. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
6. Participate in toolbox talks, regular safety audits, and incident reporting to ensure a safe working environment.
7. Stay up-to-date with advancements in renewable energy systems and implement them as needed.
8. Provide assistance and advice on electrical systems during the planning and designing of new projects.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician in commercial or industrial settings.
2. Proven experience with control systems, motor feeders, and connections.
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical diagrams.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines. Familiarity with OSHA standards is a must.
5. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
6. Outstanding physical condition and ability to work in different environments (heights, confined spaces, etc.).
7. Strong understanding of renewable energy systems.
8. Excellent communication skills and the ability to train and mentor team members.
9. A commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to participate in career development programs or continued education.
10. A valid electrician's license and proof of insurance.
