Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Support Technician to manage IT infrastructure, assist with equipment inventory clean-up, and provide essential technical support across our organization.

This is a 1-2 month short term contract. Pay rate is $25/h.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive inventory management and IT asset clean-up
  • Inspect, document, and maintain company hardware
  • Triage and resolve technical support tickets efficiently (Jira)
  • Perform physical equipment audits and update inventory tracking systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  • Coordinate equipment repairs and replacements
  • Maintain detailed logs of technical interventions and equipment status

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Mac and Windows. Linux is a plus
  • Background in customer-facing roles
  • 1-2 years of IT support experience
  • CompTIA A+ certification is preferred
  • Experience with asset management software
  • Strong technical troubleshooting abilities
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Basic knowledge of networking and hardware maintenance
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support tickets simultaneously
  • Customer service experience, particularly with technical support

Work Conditions

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, onsite in San Francisco
  • Occasional overtime may be required
  • Physical demands include lifting equipment up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to work in a technical environment and move IT equipment
