Ukiah Food Distribution Volunteer

Our community is in need of Food Distribution Volunteers, to help those in need. Get out in our community and help distribute fresh produce, healthy groceries, and staple pantry items at one of Redwood Empire Food Bank's food distribution sites. Activities could include: Assisting with setting up and cleaning up Unloading, sorting, bagging, and distributing food to participants Volunteers will help load produce items, canned food boxes, bread, and diapers for participants Please keep in mind: You will have to stand for your volunteer shift but are able to take a break whenever you need one. If you need accommodations, please let the coordinator know. We’d love to have volunteers that can commit to reoccurring sites but it is not required. You do not need to be bilingual but if you are that is awesome! Volunteers should wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Our main goal is to feed the community and make sure you have a great time volunteering.
