Position Overview

Renewal by Andersen is seeking experienced Lead Generators for Door-to-Door Canvassing (lead generation). Lead Generators work directly with homeowners to generate firm appointment leads for Design Consultants to conduct a homeowner-focused consultative selling experience. Success is determined by the ability to connect with homeowners, provide an exceptional homeowner experience, and achieve strong results. Responsibilities include organizing in-home consultations, addressing customer process questions, and giving a brief introduction to our products and services.

Position Type & Schedule

W-2: part-time, non-benefited, non-exempt, at-will 1099: (W-9) positions available Growth potential to full-time (W-2) lead role for high performers Schedule: Part-time; 25 to 28 hours per week, 10 am–9 pm, Monday–Saturday; holiday shifts as needed

Compensation

Potential target earnings of $1000 to $3000+ bi-weekly (base pay plus commission).

Responsibilities

Directly reports to the Proximity Manager Attend daily team briefings for feedback and area assignments Travel to and cover assigned canvassing areas Gather information about neighborhood window renovation activity for future homeowners Build presence as a valuable and honest contributor to homeowners to drive recommendations Utilize training and scripting to generate leads and lead conversations Answer questions about goods or services, including product features and benefits Schedule consultations for homeowners to meet with Design Consultants Record and report daily canvassing activity; seek performance improvements Work independently outside the office and with the public Organize, plan, and prioritize work Navigate between cities and canvassing locations Daily use of computers and other devices Communicate precisely and accurately in writing and speech Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships Communicate with internal and external stakeholders Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Reliable vehicle to commute to locations (must have current auto insurance and pass an MVR) Valid driver’s license Reliable smartphone/data plan Ability to work weekends and evenings Previous canvassing/neighborhood marketing experience (preferred) Previous sales and marketing experience (required) Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally Employment offer contingent on a clean background check

Working Conditions

Primarily outdoors; canvassing and traveling between neighborhoods Varying weather conditions; hot or cold Bright or low lighting environments Exposure to noise levels Team-based environment Physical stamina to be mobile and stationary for extended periods

Physical Requirements

Move for extended periods (4–8 hours) and traverse locations Traverse sidewalks and stairs; alternate between movement and stationary positions Converse and exchange ideas verbally Discern and distinguish speech and sounds Handle tools, materials, and equipment Transit to various locations as required Work indoors or outdoors

Supplemental Information
