Overview
Renewal by Andersen - SLC is seeking experienced Lead Generators for Door-to-Door Canvassing (lead generation) for our Idaho territory. Lead Generators work directly with homeowners to generate firm appointment leads for our Design Consultants to conduct a homeowner-focused consultative selling experience.

Responsibilities
Directly reports to the Proximity Manager.
Attend daily team meetings virtually (training & sharing) for successful feedback and area assignments.
Travel to and cover assigned canvassing areas.
Gather information about neighborhood window renovation activity to use with future homeowners.
Build presence as a valuable and honest contributor to homeowners in the neighborhood, driving homeowner recommendations.
Utilize training to generate leads using approved company methodology and scripting. Use scripting and best practices to lead conversations.
Answer customer questions about goods or services, including product features and benefits.
Schedule consultations for homeowners to meet with Design Consultants.
Record and report daily canvassing activity, driving for performance improvement.
Organize, plan, and prioritize work.
Reliably navigate between cities and canvas locations.
Daily utilization of computers and other electronic devices.
Communicate precisely and accurately both verbally and in writing.
Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships.
Communicate with persons inside and outside the organization.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Reliable vehicle to commute to assigned work locations (must have current auto insurance and pass an MVR check).
Valid driver's license.
Reliable smartphone/data plan.
Ability to work weekends and evenings.
Previous canvassing/neighborhood marketing experience (preferred).
Previous sales and marketing experience (required).
Ability to communicate precisely and accurately both verbally and in writing.
Employment offer contingent on a clean, basic background check.
Working Conditions
Work primarily outdoors, canvassing and traveling between neighborhoods.
Work in varying weather conditions, including hot or cold temperatures.
Work in either very bright or very low light.
Work or be exposed to continuous sounds or noise levels.
Work with a group or as part of a team.
Work with physical stamina necessary to be both mobile and stationary for long periods, meeting and communicating with people.
Physical Requirements
Able to move for extended periods of time (4-8 hours), traversing work locations.
Able to traverse sidewalks, stairs, and;
Able to alternate between stationary positions for extended periods of time (4-8 hours).
Able to converse, express, or exchange ideas by spoken word.
Able to discern, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
Able to seize, hold, grasp, turn, various product tools, marketing materials & equipment.
Able to travel to various work locations reliably as required.
Able to work indoors or outdoors.
Supplemental Information
Expectation to regularly be outdoors in all types of varying weather conditions.
Expectation to work varying shifts, including Saturdays and evenings.
Travel is required within our Idaho Territory, including southwest Idaho and eastern Wyoming. Overnight stays may be necessary.
Must be able to travel to meet at our Salt Lake City office for staff meetings, communication, and other duties quarterly or as necessary.
