Insight Global is seeking to hire a Corporate Controller who will be supporting a multinational organization in the energy/petroleum industry. You will be actively involved with all aspects of financial operations and ensuring efficient financial processes. Responsibilities include tracking transactions, measuring volume/value of what is sold daily, coordinating with accounts payable and accounts receivable, generating financial reports, coordinating with auditors, and managing a global team of about 10 finance/accounting professionals. Key Responsibilities: Lead the global accounting function, including consolidations, intercompany transactions, and the financial close processes. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS. Oversee compliance with local statutory reporting requirements in all jurisdictions. Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies. Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and Operations to support strategic initiatives and business decisions. Utilize ERP systems and accounting processes to support scalability. Lead and mentor a global team of accounting professionals. REQUIRED SKILLS: MUST have CPA. 8+ years of experience as a controller or in similar senior finance roles. Management experience of a team with 10+ people. Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting. Strong hands-on experience with finance-related activities. Experience handling finances domestically and internationally. PLUSSES: Experience working in the petroleum industry. Experience with NetSuite. Experience at a company that handles daily transactions and closes. Details
