Position:
Vice President of Marketing Reporting to the COO, you will lead a team of marketing professionals and oversee agency relationships to drive advertising effectiveness, media spend optimization, and customer engagement. The primary focus is retaining existing customers through consistent upgrade cycles while strategically acquiring new customers to grow market share. You will shape media strategy with autonomy, balancing digital efforts with opportunities across connected TV, dynamic mobile, and customer databases. You will also manage co-op advertising partnerships, and work cross-functionally with store operations and merchandising to ensure marketing strategies drive per-purchase revenue growth. Location:

Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of 4-6 marketing professionals including analysts, a program manager, and a creative team, ensuring strategic alignment and high performance. Develop and execute marketing strategies focused on customer retention and upgrades, while growing market share via new customer acquisition. Utilize media mix models and attribution techniques to optimize advertising spend across digital and traditional channels. Build and leverage sophisticated customer databases to personalize marketing, increase retention, and improve targeting. Develop and manage email and SMS campaigns and analytics to drive engagement and optimize upgrade cycles. Evaluate, select, and implement a comprehensive CRM platform to unify customer touchpoints (SMS, email, website, digital engagement, outbound telemarketing) for a seamless customer experience. Oversee and optimize media spend to drive store traffic, conversions, and revenue per sale. Maximize co-op advertising opportunities with major electronics and service providers. Collaborate with store operations and merchandising to align marketing with retail execution and revenue per purchase. Manage marketing analytics for precise targeting, campaign optimization, and performance tracking. Lead brand positioning and messaging initiatives to differentiate the company in a competitive retail landscape. Conduct customer insights and market research to analyze behavior, preferences, and competitor strategies. Forge strategic partnerships with service providers, electronics brands, and media outlets to expand opportunities. Oversee performance attribution and reporting to measure marketing impact through attribution models and customer journey mapping. Drive digital transformation through AI-driven personalization, predictive analytics, and dynamic creative optimization. Develop loyalty and retention programs to increase customer lifetime value through exclusive offers and engagement initiatives. Analytical and strategic mindset with experience leveraging marketing analytics for performance optimization. Background in SMS/Email, A/B testing and Marketing Automation. Experience in an owner-operated company with a low-ego, agile, adaptable work style. Expertise in media mix modeling and data-driven campaign optimization.
