Overview The Director, LRUS Product Management, GTM, Segment, Market Research is responsible for customer-centric, strategic planning for all Go-To-Market, Market Research and Segment Management activities. Leads and develops teams, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, and guides product roadmap and GTM initiatives to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

Lead and participate in strategic planning for VitalLaw initiatives including annual, periodic and 3-year VSP planning processes within LRUS and Legal & Regulatory at large.

Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify and develop strategic business and product development opportunities that benefit customers.

Direct and advise on the product roadmap to ensure product and platform development meets and exceeds customer expectations.

Engage in customer interaction and lead customer-centered product design and GTM initiatives.

Communicate and support the Company strategy effectively and lead and develop individuals and teams.

Key Activities

Direct the team to provide technical and subject-matter support for existing products and new product initiatives to sales and marketing.

Support all market research initiatives internally and externally.

Direct the build-out of financial business cases for new opportunities and product launches.

Lead product management in go-to-market strategies and drive product market growth in the Legal Markets Group.

Quantify market size and identify segments with the Strategy team.

Educate and evangelize the benefits of new products to selling channel teams and drive sales enablement including training programs and playbooks.

Conduct competitive analysis and create documentation/presentations for Sales and Marketing teams.

Basic Function The Director provides leadership for strategic planning across Go-To-Market, Market Research, and Segment Management activities, driving customer-centric initiatives and GTM execution.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Direct the development of strategies for VitalLaw initiatives and LRUS market growth.

Lead cross-functional collaboration with Technology, Strategic Marketing, Customer Operations, Sales, Editorial, Content Delivery, Training and Consulting, Market Research, Operations, Finance, M&A, Legal, and other stakeholders.

Oversee commercialization and go-to-market planning and execution, including product definition, target markets, positioning, offers, packaging, sales channel strategy, and messaging.

Drive post-release tracking and financial reporting and support sales enablement materials and certifications.

Job Qualifications Education:

BS/BA or equivalent required. BS/BA in a Business-related field preferred. Law Degree or MBA preferred.

Experience: 8-10 years in Product Management with 5-7 years of direct management experience; preferred background in professional publishing, B2B software solutions, or professional information services.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: strong leadership, strategic planning, negotiation, product development, and cross-functional collaboration; agile thinking and analytical skills; excellent communication and partnering abilities.

Travel Requirements Moderate travel 20%.

Physical Demands Normal office environment. Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.

Compensation Target salary range for participating states: $208,800 - $295,550.
