Job Details The Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Project Manager will be responsible for generating new business, networking, and establishing & maintaining customer relationships. The EPC PM will plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner and will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects. The EPC PM will provide the complete and satisfactory execution of the entire project while working directly with the project superintendent and other team members. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, and Primavera Scheduling and Construction Administration Software preferred.

Salary $100,000 - $150,000 per year

What you will do

Leads Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Closeout phases of the projects.

Ensures quality assurance processes are implemented and followed.

Promotes the company’s Safety Culture through all phases of the project.

Develops turn-key project schedules and coordinates work sequencing with the field team.

Collaborates with Purchasing Department and vendors to ensure effective material coordination.

Identifies and generates new business; networks, establishes, and maintains customer relationships.

Plans, organizes, and staffs electrical/automation/MES construction projects.

Ensures projects are completed profitably, on time, and to customer expectations.

Reviews outgoing estimates with Estimating Departments to ensure accuracy; assists with bid packages for solicitation and EPC estimates.

Visits job sites and interacts with Owners, Developers, Partners, Site Leadership, Engineers, Consultants, Crews, and Subcontractors to support progress and promote safe behavior.

Delegates effectively to direct reports with proper controls to ensure accountability.

Acts as coach and develops talent; selects and trains individuals as needed.

Monitors flow of work between units; communicates strategies and fosters cross-functional collaboration.

Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related Engineering; equivalent technical experience will be considered.

Experience:

10+ years in the Industrial / Manufacturing Commercial Construction Market; or 5 years in the Renewable Energy Market with 1 year of construction estimating experience; on-site construction experience is a plus.

Travel:

20-40%

Work Schedule:

Typical hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; may require work outside these hours to meet business needs.
