Overview
Manufacturing Supervisor I/II/III - Weekend Days at Jubilant HollisterStier (Jubilant Pharma Limited). Located in Spokane, WA. Relocation available. This on-site, full-time role supports aseptic manufacturing operations within the SVP manufacturing department.
Responsibilities
Supervise assigned manufacturing operations which may include: processing source materials, equipment and component preparation and sterilization, aseptic filtration, aseptic filling, lyophilization, inspection, and packaging. Report operational status to the next level of management and with all affected peers daily.
Review and update manufacturing documentation associated with the manufacturing areas.
Provide cGMP, job task, and safety training for personnel in the manufacturing areas.
Generate, update and maintain area Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Production Records (BPRs); ensure compliance with cGMP through observation, training and auditing.
Supervise hourly employee performance, including compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, and safety regulations.
Perform deviation investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Order production supplies and equipment required to manufacture product.
Prepare production-monitoring reports and participate in analysis of product cost and budgeting processes.
Interview new employees; provide coaching and counseling; conduct performance evaluations and set objectives; assist in disciplinary actions as needed.
Analyze and make recommendations regarding capital expenditures and efficiency improvements in the manufacturing areas.
Interact with supporting departments (e.g., Quality Assurance, Maintenance, PIC) to resolve production issues promptly with appropriate quality considerations.
Schedule validation of processes and equipment; ensure environmental monitoring limits are maintained.
Demonstrated expertise in filling operations, with specific experience in aseptic filling processes.
Qualifications
Supervisor I:
Bachelor’s in Biology, Chemistry or other hard science and 6 months related experience required. In lieu of a hard science degree, 2 years of related leadership experience may be used, a Bachelor's degree is still required OR 4 years of solid Pharma Manufacturing or related supervisory experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree. High school diploma required.
Supervisor II:
Minimum 1-5 years related experience with Bachelor’s degree.
Lead or Supervisory experience preferred; experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
Working knowledge of MS Word & MS Excel; familiarity with MS PowerPoint; interpretation of cGMP Regulations.
Physical Requirements: 20/30 corrected near-point vision. Must be able to work in aseptic areas with exposure to allergens; prolonged sitting/standing may be required.
Shift Weekend Days, Friday-Sunday with every other Thursday 6am-6pm.
Compensation & Benefits This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA. Compensation varies by level:
Supervisor I: $92,700 - $120,000
Supervisor II: $101,200 – $130,900
Supervisor III: $115,700 - $146,700 annually, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises
