Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Process and Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and oversee the development, optimization, and support of manufacturing processes within a solar module production facility in Burlington, Washington. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervisory and Leadership Duties: Hire, train, and manage manufacturing engineering staff, including conducting performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Mentor, coach, and support career development of direct reports. Foster strong communication within the department and across other business units. Lead the team by modeling company values and principles. Process Development and Improvement: Develop, implement, improve, and sustain manufacturing processes, procedures, and standards to optimize efficiency, quality, and safety. Lead continuous improvement of PFMEAs and VSMs for products and manufacturing lines. Identify and execute kaizen projects to boost productivity. Provide production teams with data and analysis to resolve issues across engineering and operations. Conduct hands-on root cause analysis of production, equipment, and maintenance challenges. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and apply lean manufacturing principles. Collaborate with New Product Development teams to transition NPIs from R&D to production, ensuring alignment with project gate processes. Project Management: Manage manufacturing engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring timely completion. Support equipment and machinery quotations for process requirements. Develop timelines, budgets, and scope of work for projects. Lead process improvement projects from analysis to implementation. Oversee equipment runoff at OEMs, installations, debugging, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with operations to meet program deliverables. Review PFMEAs, simulations, control plans, and launch requirements. Support multiple sites with troubleshooting and process improvement. Oversee automation troubleshooting, new equipment installations, and modifications. Ensure equipment and systems comply with applicable standards and regulations. Establish and lead equipment installation boards with OEMs and contractors. Develop and execute trial runs across sites. Seniority level
