Strategy, Architecture, Planning, and Procurement Business Enablement Business Solutions Project Assurance Role and Responsibilities PCG is hiring a Senior Consultant to lead technical oversight on a public sector state government modernization project while continuing to support building the team and portfolio of projects in our Technology Consulting Practice Area. This Senior Consultant will serve as the primary point of contact for expert advice, assistance, and guidance to support a major ERP Migration project and ensure all project requirements are met. The Senior Consultant will lead the work with the project team to provide Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services for the ERP migration project. Direct responsibility for the system and stage gate level assessment deliverables and work products produced along with the team. Deliverables and work products will be completed in accordance with the practice area’s strategy, approach, and methodology. The consultant ensures all assessments and deliverables are high-quality and provide meaningful insights into the ERP Migration project in all dimensions. The consultant must be in SC, GA, or NC. Broad experience in selected industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, education), technical competencies (e.g., technical writing, cloud/SaaS services, ERP software), and management approaches (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) are required. Proactively solve complex client problems from pursuit through execution using a consultative mindset. Anticipate issues and blockers proactively. Identify and surface patterns to peers and leadership about root causes of problems. Assimilate research and complex data to objectively inform recommendations. As necessary, lead or participate in project delivery activities, including analysis, deliverable creation, and communicating project performance and progress. Manage project teams focused on architecture, software design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, and project assurance/oversight. Apply financial acumen to make business recommendations that improve project success. Business Development

Support proposal responses for RFPs, including participating in response writing. Understand competitors and develop strategies to differentiate our approach in the marketplace. Gain a deep understanding of most products and services within the practice and help drive market alignment strategy. Review RFPs, champion bid decisions on opportunities, and influence decisions. Required Qualifications: The consultant must be in SC, GA, or NC. Experience with either the implementation of a large-scale cloud-based ERP system or experience with technical project management of a cloud-based ERP system (preferably SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA RISE Migration). Quality Assurance or Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) experience with large HR/Financial system implementation projects. Must be based in one of the following locations: North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, or Georgia. 5+ years of relevant experience providing a combination of implementation, IV&V, project management, QA, and other project oversight services for State governments, preferably in Enterprise HR/Financial Systems, Health/Human Services, Government Operations, Education, Finance, Systems Integration, Corrections, and similar systems. Excellent writing skills and ability to present to various audiences. Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and interact with all levels of personnel, from technical to executive management. Experience with systems in large-scale integrated/modular environments. Self-starter with enthusiasm and political savvy to accomplish objectives while maintaining a professional presence. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university. Ability to travel 25% regionally and, in some cases, across the country, approximately twice a year. Also serves as a Subject Matter Expert on S/4HANA RISE migration. Preferred Technical Skills 5+ years of experience in the following Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP modules (S/4HANA, ECC, BW, FICO, MM, SD) and their integration. SAP Architecture: Strong understanding of SAP architecture frameworks, methodologies, system landscapes, and data modeling. Cloud Solutions: Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (RISE Platform, SAP BTP) and cloud migration strategies. Integration: Proficiency in SAP integration tools and techniques, including APIs, middleware (SAP PI/PO, CPI), and cloud connectors. Databases: Solid knowledge of SAP HANA and SQL. Programming: Proficiency in ABAP, Fiori, Java, or other relevant languages for custom development. This position is hybrid with travel/onsite requirements. We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis until filled. Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies based on location, role, skill set, and experience. The following compensation range is provided as required by law: $88,000-$140,000. PCG also provides a range of benefits including medical and dental care, 401k, PTO, parental leave, and bereavement leave.
