Our client is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join their team and provide expertise in designing, integrating, and supporting enterprise-level systems across multiple platforms, operating systems, and cloud environments. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring system security, operational stability, and seamless integration across applications, while also supporting transformational efforts within the Finance organization. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of enterprise architecture, SAP S/4HANA, and finance-related systems, along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design and define system architecture and solutions for integrating multiple platforms, operating systems, cloud environments, and applications. Determine systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware, software, and cloud compatibility while ensuring system security. Support daily operations of the SAP S/4 environment with a focus on Finance-related processes. Coordinate subsystem design and integration into the overall enterprise architecture. Identify, analyze, and resolve program and system support deficiencies. Develop and document frameworks for integration, technical standards, and architecture governance. Provide technical guidance to stakeholders including database administrators, software developers, and business users. Translate business requirements into functional and technical architecture; recommend corrective actions and solutions. Support month-end closing processes, including troubleshooting and resolution of SAP FICO-related issues. Lead or support solution discussions, process optimization, and root cause analysis efforts. Guide testing and training efforts for new solutions and enhancements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise system architecture and integration. Strong background in SAP FICO operational support, including configuration and testing. At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA. Proven ability to lead requirements gathering, design solutions, and deliver configuration changes. Strong understanding of system security, infrastructure, and cloud environments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO processes such as Record to Report (R2R), journal entries, reconciliations, financial close, and compliance is a plus. Experience supporting financial accounting and reporting processes is preferred. SAP FICO certification is highly desirable. Due to the nature of the work, an Interim clearance is required, however the candidate will need to obtain a Secret clearance (active Secret clearance is a plus). Compliance & Equal Opportunity
