Overview
Ebenezer is proud to introduce a newly created leadership role: Executive Director for our intimate, Signature Memory Care community in Minnetonka, MN. This is a unique opportunity for a compassionate, driven leader with a well-rounded background in Operations, Sales, and Life Enrichment, and a heartfelt passion for supporting those living with memory loss. As Executive Director of our Signature Memory Care community, you will: Oversee all aspects of community operations, including financial management, staffing, and compliance. Lead strategic marketing and community outreach efforts. Champion innovative programming and life enrichment opportunities tailored to residents’ needs. Foster a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where residents thrive and families feel supported. This is more than a management position, it’s an opportunity to shape the future of our Signature Memory Care Community at Ebenezer, making a lasting impact in the lives of residents and their loved ones.
Team leadership and operations
Creates and maintains a high performing team within the community: oversees the hiring, onboarding, training and overall employee experience of staff at the site Develops performance and operational goals with department directors Provides ongoing support to and encourages professional development of the department directors Assesses team performance and provides regular feedback. Addresses performance issues promptly and effectively. Promotes staff understanding of the roles they play in the accomplishment of the goals of the community and provides supportive feedback on a regular basis
Financial management
Monitors financial performance: develops annual budget and monitors monthly activity Supports department directors with developing budget and financial goals Meets monthly with department directors to review financial performance and assure budget compliance Reviews and monitors monthly financial statements with Ebenezer Corporate office Plans and implements changes in strategy of generating revenue and/or managing expenses in response to current financial performance
Resident services and engagement
Oversees monthly billing process for residents: issues statements, answers questions, collects payments, completes deposits, provides information to accounting Establishes and supports an environment conducive to the provision of quality services and high-level customer satisfaction Communicates and is highly engaged with residents and families Meets regularly with appropriate resident committees Responds effectively to resident or family concerns including grievance resolution Routinely conducts and/or reviews satisfaction surveys Develops and implements a Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program Oversees employee training compliance with regulations and Ebenezer policies Acts as liaison for ownership when in a managed community, keeping them informed quarterly and as needed
Dimensions Program and life enrichment
Serves as the Dimensions Champion for the site, attending Ebenezer’s Dimensions trainings and ongoing Dimensions Champions training Coaches and mentors care team, other staff members and volunteers in best practices of the Dimensions Program Collaborates with nursing to maximize contributions to resident care plans from CPT, Life History/Activity Assessment, Advance Care Planning and Global Deterioration Scale (GDS) Utilizes psychosocial approaches and interventions to support residents Ensures Dimensions environment enhances resident experience and engagement Coordinates and supports the Care Partner Support group
Programs and activities
Develops programs reflective of Dimensions resident interests Assesses residents’ areas of interest and needs; designs and implements programs accordingly Maintains monthly activity calendar and supports day-to-day activities Provides program direction and ensures execution through Life Enrichment staff Encourages resident participation and maintains attendance records Coordinates vendors for entertainment aligned with community interests Ensures programming supplies are available
Transportation and safety
Drives Ebenezer vehicle for resident outings; checks Vehicle Requirements prior to outings Maintains a log of transportation services Ensures safety and welfare of passengers; follows safety and infection control procedures Reports safety hazards or incidents and complies with motor vehicle laws
Sales and marketing
Develops and executes a sales and marketing plan aimed at full occupancy Coordinates with corporate marketing to design plans and initiatives Maintains relationships with external referral resources Ensures clear communication among leaders and supports smooth move-ins Generates new leads and maintains current occupancy reporting and wait lists Follows Ebenezer Sales System guidelines and keeps marketing materials current Schedules tours and evaluates web content; understands and addresses sales barriers Maintains CRM data and prospect tracking
Compliance and operations
Monitors maintenance of the building and grounds; provides feedback to staff Ensures compliance with applicable state and federal regulations Manages compliance with Department of Health AL regulations and other bodies (OSHA, DOL, etc.) Manages survey processes for health department inspections
Required Qualifications
Current Driver’s License (in good standing) Must be insurable under the employer’s auto insurance coverage Must be at least 21 years old 1 or more years of senior living leadership experience Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) or Licensed Health Services Executive (LHSE) by BELTSS Board
OR Meets requirements for Assisted Living Director – In Residence (ALD-IR) by obtaining a BELTSS permit within 30 days of hire and relevant experience; must graduate from approved program and complete requirements within one year of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Senior housing, Business, or related

Compensation
The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek. Actual rate depends on factors such as skills, experience, and market conditions. Pay is based on internal equity; signing bonuses, if applicable, follow the approved program at offer time.
