We are searching for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to be a part of our interim consulting practice at CFO’s Domain, a national accounting & finance consulting and recruiting organization serving CFOs and their stakeholders. Our consultants provide mission critical deliverables when capacity or capability constraints exist and gain access to diverse project experience and professional growth. Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP Partner with FP&A and business leaders to track budgets and provide operational insights Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and audit readiness Support operational accounting processes such as AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and expense accruals Assist with external audit and tax engagements, including preparation of schedules and coordination with external advisors Participate in system/process improvements across the finance function Contribute to ad hoc analysis and projects as needed QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred Minimum 3–7 years of operational accounting experience Strong knowledge of US GAAP; experience in corporate or public accounting environments Background in industries such as technology, SaaS, life sciences, manufacturing, or professional services a plus Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar) preferred Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills Job details
