Overview
Associate Director of CU Real Estate Investment Management & Finance Pathway (Part-time) — The Leeds School of Business at CU Boulder invites applications for the Associate Director role to lead the real estate investment management pathway. The Associate Director will design and deliver a multi-semester pathway, mentor students, and collaborate with industry professionals and CU departments on applied learning activities. Responsibilities
Academic & Student Program Leadership: Develop, instruct, and coordinate the year-round real estate investment fund (KCREIF) experiential learning activity; lead recruitment, interviews, and selection of student participants in partnership with faculty and the Investment Committee; mentor students through all phases of the investment cycle; identify new opportunities for applied learning in real estate finance/investments; facilitate mentorship and accountability; partner with CU departments and alumni to provide a coordinated learning experience with industry involvement. REIF Investment Oversight & Industry Engagement: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of real estate investment opportunities; coordinate and prepare students for Investment Committee meetings and deal approvals; guide students in producing quarterly investment performance reports; supervise asset management strategies with third-party operators and partners. Program Strategy, Fundraising & Administration: Collaborate with the Klump Center and Advancement teams to support fundraising and alumni engagement; represent the Pathway and KREIF within the university and externally; ensure program alignment with academic standards, compliance, and industry guidelines. This is a part-time, 0.5 FTE university staff position. The incumbent may contract separately with the department of Finance to instruct the REIF course sequence, which could vary from one to three courses per year. What We Can Offer

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent job-related experience (year-for-year substitute). 5+ years of experience directly related to the work assignment. Graduate degree (MBA, MSRE, JD, or equivalent) preferred. Experience managing investment committees or leading real estate funds. Background in capital markets, acquisitions, or real estate private equity. Previous instruction or executive education experience. Well-established professional network to support deal sourcing and student development. What We Would Like You To Have
