About the Role

As the Manager of Brand & Communications, you will own Hunter’s brand presence, media strategy, and public-facing communications across all platforms — from our brokerage and capital markets business to our industry-leading conference and original content series, Teague Talks. This is a highly visible role that blends public relations, content production, conference marketing, and digital strategy. You’ll work closely with leadership, manage key external relationships, and ensure Hunter’s brand remains best-in-class within the hospitality industry. Key Responsibilities

Brand & Public Relations Act as the primary PR and media point of contact for Hunter’s brokerage, conference, and leadership team. Craft and distribute press releases to announce closings, new initiatives, and industry insights. Secure earned media opportunities and manage media relationships. Develop and maintain CoverageBook reports to track PR performance and ROI. Support the leadership team in maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with clients and media partners. Conference Media & Communications Manage the PR and media presence of the Hunter Hotel Investment Conference. Oversee media partnerships, secure coverage, and coordinate media agreements in collaboration with the Events & Partnerships Manager. Act as the on-site media liaison during the conference to ensure seamless execution and visibility. Collaborate with the marketing team to manage conference website updates and media-related content. Content Production: Teague Talks & Digital Storytelling Lead the creative strategy, logistics, and guest coordination for Teague Talks — our original hospitality leadership interview series. Research and secure top-tier guests, prepare interview content, and manage pre-production and editing workflows. Collaborate with production teams to refine video edits, graphics, and copywriting for digital distribution. Oversee e-blasts, promotional campaigns, and content releases. Digital Presence & Website Management Manage updates and content strategy for Hunter’s brokerage website and conference website. Ensure messaging, branding, and user experience are consistent across platforms. Qualifications

5+ years of experience in brand management, PR, communications, or marketing. Proven track record of securing media coverage and building strong industry relationships. Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling press releases and marketing copy. Experience managing content production (video, digital campaigns, or branded storytelling). Proficiency with tools like Salesforce, Premiere Pro, CoverageBook, and email marketing platforms a plus. Hospitality, real estate, or investment industry experience preferred but not required.
