Overview
EY is seeking a Senior Manager in Technology Business Analysis for SAP – Finance. The role focuses on leveraging SAP technology to improve client operations, drawing on EY’s SAP service line capabilities (Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch and SuccessFactors). The opportunity involves innovating with SAP, coordinating with tax, assurance, transactions and risk teams, and delivering strategy to execution on client engagements. Responsibilities
Engage with key stakeholders to understand needs and advise on SAP system capabilities. Initiate requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing, workflow completion, and documentation; design functional solutions and translate needs into configurations and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems. Evaluate and translate complex business models, processes, and operations into technical specifications for delivery success. Manage and oversee complex processes and projects, ensuring quality, managing risk, and delivering on objectives. Hold budget responsibility, oversee delivery and performance of projects; foster and manage client relationships to support business growth and revenue generation. Your Key Responsibilities
Thought leadership and applying best practices to tackle complex problems. Identify sales opportunities and participate in client engagements from planning to closure. Manage engagement economics with focus on chargeability and revenue generation. Skills And Attributes For Success
Strong technical capabilities paired with sound business acumen; ability to assimilate new knowledge. Ability to lead and deliver quality SAP projects or workstreams; monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed. Build relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels; select methods and techniques to achieve results. Ability to recommend policy changes and establish procedures; set objectives and determine approaches to assignments. To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred). 5-7 years of relevant SAP experience; at least 3 years in one or more SAP modules. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills. Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based teams. Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, peer environments, and advisory experience in finance and technology functions. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and new technologies. Willingness to travel to meet client needs. Ideally, you’ll also have
Prior consulting industry experience. SAP certifications. Experience with at least one full cycle implementation of your core module. What We Look For
