The Role/Team Fidelity is seeking a ServiceNow Software Engineer to join their Solutions Modernization Team. It is a fast paced, dynamic environment with interactions with enterprise applications and incorporating modern portal technology ensuring the efficient internal associate experience relating to internal technical information and support across Fidelity. The team seeks an ambitious team member to help support onboarding to Fidelity's Event Management framework. You'll directly work on the ServiceNow application and assist with many enterprise integrations. You will be responsible for helping with the configuration and connection to the ServiceNow ITOM Event Management module applying the OOTB Event connectors, ServiceNow CMDB and Service Mapping! The Skills and Knowledge you Bring Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent Five or more years’ experience in a software development related to the role Comprehension and experience with application and implementation of the following; ServiceNow ITOM Event Management module - Integration Connectors (OOTB and Custom) Event / Alert / Correlation rule creation, Notifications, ServiceNow ITSM stack Strong knowledge of the ITSM framework. Proven experience with development and implementation of any ServiceNow Modules – ITOM Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Service Portal, CSDM, Configuration (CMDB) or other ITSM / CMDB applications (MID Servers, Discovery). Proven experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs Familiar with the following software languages: JavaScript, Powershell, HTML, JSON, CSS, AJAX Experience in working within the Agile standard methodology and participate in the ceremonies. Ability to lead and mentor junior-level developers Proven ability to work with individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner and build and maintain effective relationships Comfortable as a self-starter – able to act independently under general direction.
