Delta Air Lines HumanResources team is amid a multi-year HR transformation. We are seeking an experienced
HR Solutions Partner
to join our HR Innovation and EmployeeExperience team in the
Atlanta
office. The role is ideal for a high performing professional with a deepfunctional and technical understanding of HR systems (e.g., SAP HCM,SuccessFactors) and data, employee experience, and a passion for drivingcontinuous improvement. The idealcandidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leverages data-driven insightsto inform decision-making, and is well versed in agile methods and designthinking having served as a product owner. Partnering closely with business and IT stakeholders, this role willcollaborate to deliver modernization and deployment of intuitive and impactfultools that empower employees and elevate the experience across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
Serves as the driving and leading systems expert that is identifiedto reduce defects, increase efficiency, and move strategic initiatives andprojects forward.
Partners closely with the broader HR Innovation and EmployeeExperience team, solution partners, and Business users to define businessrequirements, assess technology needs, and drive the continuousimprovement of HR product features in-line with a unified releasestrategy.
Aids work stream in driving towards enhanced experience andfunctionality as it relates to HR applications including but not limitedto
experience providing functional and technical support for SAP HCMmodules, including Personnel Administration, Benefits, Payroll, andSuccessFactors Compensation.
Collaborates with many teams including networking, database,storage/backup, development, IT operations, and business operations toresolve complex escalations/issues involving multiple processes/systems,including analysis of HR applications and components to identify rootcause and ideate viable solutions.
Collaborates with other Delta IT groups to solve technical issuesand establishes and monitors escalation of problems.
Assists with the implementation and coordination of businessprocess changes, data accuracy audits and end user training.
Participates in HR projects as an integral part of across-functional team to support the delivery for HR Services.
Works with HR COEs, HR Services COEs, Divisional SMEs, Leadershipand Technology partners to rollout plans for deployment of new productsand features, as well as coordinates and prioritizes system defectresolution and enhancements.
Supports the development and maintenance of product roadmaps andfeature definitions.Assesses andpresents business value, risks, and intent behind new products andfeatures to stakeholders.
Performs complex work operating various data applications andcollects information, analyzes data, and generates reports.Accountable for aiding in the successfuloperationalization and continuous improvement of product features.Provides input in the configuration ormodification of currently established processes and procedures to driveefficiency.
Proactively data mines system jobs, reports and interfaces forsystematic issues, potential issues, process improvements and automations.
Ensures all processes comply with Delta’s policies and proceduresand applies best practice standards throughout product lifecycle.
Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processesand procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent work experience plus 5+ years of experience workingas a Lead in service delivery roles with an emphasis on systemsconfiguration; master’s degree in business or an applicable technicalfield is preferred, plus 3+ years of the above experience; without adegree, at least 7 years of the above experience is required.
Must haveextensive knowledge of HR data, processes and systems integrations,exposure to varying systems implementation methodologies (Agile,Waterfall, etc.) is required.
Must havedeep product expertise, exposure to varying system automation tools andtechnologies.
Previousexperience in the end-to-end implementations of SAP HCM modules, includingPersonnel Administration, Benefits, Payroll, Time Management, andSuccessFactors Compensation (Base & Variable Pay), Employee Centralpreferred.
Must haveprior experience strategically cultivating and supporting solutions,working both independently & within a team environment.
Must havedemonstrated experience communicating technical concepts and processesusing clear, simple language and visuals, as well as implementing andexecuting high-impact projects across a matrixed organization.
Ademonstrated ability to effectively plan, set priorities, allocateresources, and manage several complex product releases simultaneouslywhile working in a fast-paced environment to deliver results is required.
(If transferring internally) Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
