Overview
Cooley is looking for third to fifth year attorneys to join its nationally-ranked Trademark, Copyright, and Advertising group. The team works at the forefront of AI-copyright litigation and cutting-edge trademark litigation, representing hundreds of disruptors and industry leaders. Candidates must have significant experience with trademark, copyright, and advertising federal litigation and USPTO Trademark Trial & Appeal Board proceedings. Candidates should also have experience advising on the availability of trademark protection for proposed marks, from clearance searches and analysis of risks to concise reporting of results to clients. Familiarity with trademark prosecution processes, including developing and implementing trademark filing strategies for national and international brands, is expected. Experience with trademark transactional work (e.g., licensing, due diligence, domain name disputes) and copyright registration counseling is a plus. Qualified candidates will have excellent academic credentials, superior writing and oral communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to work independently while collaborating in a fast-paced practice managing dozens of clients, often on a cross-office team. They should also be able to work closely with and manage a team of experienced paralegals and other professionals. EOE. Pay
The expected annual pay range for this position is $260,000 - $365,000. Final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate. Benefits
