Oversee $1.5–$2M in account revenue as the most senior, strategic client counsel Develop and articulate a coherent strategy for clients and projects Work with top technology company executives as a trusted counselor and advisor Own and drive a cornerstone in the agency (career development, client service, financials, operations) Grow business within existing clients by offering strategic recommendations to broaden scope or add services Identify and lead new business pitches aligned with growth goals and compensation Collaborate with integrated teams to deliver seamless multi-channel PR, digital and social campaigns Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement Mentor and develop staff; manage performance and priorities Represent Highwire and clients at industry events to build networks and business opportunities Ensure profitable service delivery while monitoring staff billability and resource needs Maintain account group revenue and oversee budgets Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field Minimum 15 years in communications, either in-house or agency, with at least 5 years in senior leadership Proven ability to build relationships with top reporters and editors and secure high-impact placements Extensive external writing and editing experience across print and online media Experience with social media, influencer engagement, content campaigns, and amplification Leadership in managing a comprehensive strategic communications, media relations, and marketing program Innovative thinker with a track record of turning strategy into action Experience building, mentoring and coaching a team of communications professionals Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills Ability to adapt decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs Experience setting up measurement programs and ROI for communications activities Highwire Perks
