At Reality Labs, we’re developing the future of AI wearables and augmented reality. We are looking for an experienced Wireless Systems Validation Engineer to join our Wireless team. In this role, you will be a key member of a team of innovators, working on cutting-edge wireless technologies and be aimed at pushing beyond the state of the art for developing wireless technologies that will enable the future of AI Wearables and AR. Wireless Systems Validation Engineers are responsible for delivering results from one or multiple areas of wireless device testing including wireless functional and performance testing, new feature and regression testing. Responsibilities

Defining and providing verification infrastructures

Creation and Execution of validation plan

Planning and tracking of validation tasks

Review of verification plan with system engineering and HW/RF/Antenna design teams

Documentation of verification

Review, analysis and reporting of verification results

Debugging and analysis of issues found during the verification phase

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience

6+ years of relevant professional experience

Understanding of wireless communications systems and standards, including Location technologies (GPS/AGPS), and connectivity technologies like Wi-Fi or Bluetooth

Knowledge of cellular protocol stack, firmware/hardware, RF driver components with solid experience in debugging issues stemming from these areas

Experience in analyzing logs, troubleshooting issues from field or lab for Location technologies (GPS/AGPS), or Wifi/BT

Experience with system development and verification testing methods and concepts for wireless devices

Experience on commercial test simulators and test systems such as: Spirent, Anritsu, Rohde & Schwarz or Keysight call boxes for lab validation

Experience with managing issues coming from NVIOT and IODT's, GCF/PTCRB and Operator certification testing, field testing

Experience with building automation frameworks and scripts to enable validation requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Android/iOS devices, embedded systems and software, particularly mobile chipsets are desired

Experience with scripting and automation, Python, Java, JS or C/C++ programming experience

Experience with setting up, handling stability test racks and test campaign

Experience with integrating and bring-up of commercial wireless equipment

Compensation

Public Compensation:

$139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Industry
