Job Summary:
Arizona State University and HonorHealth seek applications and nominations for the Academic ASU Division Chief of the Neurosciences Service Line, a newly established role within the ASU School of Medicine and Advanced Engineering. This initiative aims to innovate health education by integrating clinical medicine, biomedical science, and engineering disciplines, training physicians to think holistically about healthcare solutions. The role involves leading the academic vision, strategy, research, and educational programs of the Neurosciences Service Line. Essential Functions: Provide visionary leadership for neuroscience academic programs, fostering research and scholarly activities. Oversee departmental budgets, resources, and facilities supporting teaching and research. Recruit and develop talented faculty; oversee undergraduate and graduate medical education activities. Engage with internal and external partners, including the ASU School of Medicine and the HonorHealth Foundation. Develop academic strategies aligned with HonorHealth's neuroscience goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.) - Required Leadership experience in an academic medical setting - Preferred Certifications and Licensure: Physician ABMP - American Board of Medical Physicists Certification – Required Physician DO - State Licensure – Preferred Physician MD - State Licensure – Preferred
